Intelligenza artificiale

Lo scopo dell’intelligenza artificiale è quello di supportare l’uomo nei lavori più gravosi in modo che egli possa dedicarsi ai lavori in cui sono necessarie intuizione, intelligenza (quella vera) e simili; credo che finché l’intelligenza artificiale sarà un algoritmo definito e scritto da esseri umani non si possa presentare alcuno dei problemi paventati dagli scrittori di fantascienza e dai “futurologi” (di fatto, scrittori di fantascienza che credono di essere scienziati). Diverso il caso in cui l’intelligenza artificiale diverrà attiva su calcolatori quantistici, che in un certo senso simulano un essere vivente (secondo gli studi più recenti, peraltro non ancora confermati, la vita sembra essere un fenomeno quantistico e non biochimico): questo, tuttavia, è un campo ancora inesplorato e tutto da verificare.

Inoltre credo sia necessaria un’ulteriore considerazione: l’uomo è costituito da memoria, intelletto e volontà ed è sono la terza che gli permette un’azione autonoma. L’intelligenza artificiale può disporre di memoria ed, evidentemente, di intelletto ma potrà mai avere una volontà?

The aim of artificial intelligence is at supporting human beings in the heaviest jobs so that they can use their time for those jobs where intuition, intelligence (the real one) and the like are needed; I believe that as long as artificial intelligence will be an algorithm defined and written by humans, none of the problems feared by science fiction writers and “futurologists” (in fact, science fiction writers who think about themselves as scientists) will arise. It could be different when artificial intelligence will become active on quantum computers, that in a certain sense simulate a living being (according to the most recent studies, however not yet confirmed, life appears to be a quantum and not a biochemical phenomenon): this, however, it is still an unexplored field, yet to be verified.

Moreover, I believe that a further consideration is necessary: human beings are man is made up of memory, intellect and willingnes and is the third that allows them to act autonomously. Artificial intelligence can have memory and, obviously, intellect, but can it ever have a will?
