Tripoli

I have found on the web a picture of this building in Tripoli, Libya: my flat was there, when I was living in Tripol (1980-87).

The building, whose ancient name was “palazzo Nahum”, has been built at the beginning of the XX century in a quite venetian style and is located at the very centre of Triopli, the name of the street was, at that time, shara’a Imhemed Mgarieff , I do not know which is the name now (in Italian time the name was: corso Vittorio Emanuele).

The picture has been probably taken in the thirties,when I was living there instead of the small shop nearby there was a taller building)
