In my opinion, the way to indicate the accent in IPA is quite uncomfortable. I’m wondering whether it wouldn’t be better bold the accented vowel.
Example: the arabic name Husayn (حُسَيْن) is pronounced as /huːˈseɪn/, the alternative could be /huːseɪn/
